For years in the military, my life was defined by elite standards and unwavering discipline. But when I transitioned back to civilian life, I faced a new battle: the drift. Without the rigid structure of the Armed Forces, my training stalled, my nutrition became an afterthought, and my sense of identity began to fade into the background of everyday life.

The wake-up call came when I realised my standards were slipping. To the outside world, I was still the fit one because of my history, but I knew the truth. There was a massive gap between the veteran I used to be and the man I was becoming. That decline was no longer acceptable; I was coasting, and it was time to change my trajectory.

Step 3: First Weekly Check‑In
